Our Great Expectations

Hello. This is big brother. I love my little sister, the princess, and we are waiting for the school bus to come pick me up. I figure this is a good time to tell her the dings I wanna be when I grow up.

First, I wanna be a roller coaster maker, then, a teacher, then a principal, then someone who is the boss of the principals, then, the Boss of Everybody!

"Does that mean, you want to be the President of the United States?" Mommy asks.

"No. That means I want to be a street performer who does twiple whips on the concrete. " I explain.

"And I wanna be a street walker and walk all over New York City." shouts my princess sister.

Why is mommy cry-laughing?

Picture is me saying goodbye to sister this morning before school.

Dear Internet Traveler,

Welcome to my writer's blog, started about six years ago for fun. Over time, the writing I have posted has ranged from personal reflection, to Long Island history research, to tall tales for my own amusement, to feature articles for local newspapers. As you can see from topics listed here, I travel in many mental directions in regard to interests. Click on the tabs and labels to explore my strange mind which senses that you may be having a criss-cross day. If so, perhaps this blog will distract you. However, please note that if you tell me my blog is beautiful just to get me to advertise rhinoplasty surgery and cheap drugs from Canada in your comment, I will ask the gods to give you a tail that cannot be concealed.

Fondly,

Loren Christie
