Loren's Shrimp Shabby-Chic

This is my interpretation of Shrimp Scampi. I just love all things Shabby Chic, (the name has no real meaning).


2lbs frozen cooked shrimp (I'm not cleaning shrimp with a bunch of babies running around.)

1 lemon chopped

olive oil 1/2 cup

1tbsp minced garlic from a jar (again, lets be practical here)

2 lbs Cooked spaghetti

Salt- I like the Kosher salt cause I'm a salty gal (goes into the spaghetti water)

a handful of breadcrumbs

Italian seasoning

In a frying pan, saute lemons, oil, seasoning, garlic, crumbs until brown. Then add shrimp that you have defrosted. Cook for five minutes until well-mixed. Serve over spaghetti. I like to put grated Parmesan cheese on top. This makes a nice family entree on Sunday. Enjoy!
