Belated Monday Gratitude List

Today I have two blessings that come to mind.

The first is having the time to play with my children and how much they make me laugh. Below: Big Brother and the Princess several Halloweens ago. Big Brother flying his kite.

The second is Hell Hound... I 'm thinking ....um,...one good thing about her is ....um,...she teaches me patience and loyalty. (I know she looks cute but she does SO many mischievous things. She'll be eight on May 20th.)

I'd love to hear what you're thankful for this week. Send me a comment. Happy Tuesday!

That's so great Mr. Putz! I'm glad your family sees how much you enjoy blogging, and how it's a gift to them too.

I'm thankful that in the middle of a busy week filled with kid-centered activities I was able to spend one hour with an adult friend.

I am thankful for this blog and the faith-based point of view that it provides. Keep up the good work, Loren!

I am thankful for a beautiful wife who accepts me for who I am and doesn't try too hard to change me (though she does make the occassional suggestion...).

I am thankful that I remain employed in these turbulent economic times.

I am thankful that the bands I love continue to record and release music that I enjoy listening to.

Occassional suggestions are fine :)! That was pretty funny. Thanks for sharing G! You and all of the other great people who read and comment really encourage me to write.

Dear Internet Traveler,

Welcome to my writer's blog, started about six years ago for fun. Over time, the writing I have posted has ranged from personal reflection, to Long Island history research, to tall tales for my own amusement, to feature articles for local newspapers. As you can see from topics listed here, I travel in many mental directions in regard to interests. Click on the tabs and labels to explore my strange mind which senses that you may be having a criss-cross day. If so, perhaps this blog will distract you. However, please note that if you tell me my blog is beautiful just to get me to advertise rhinoplasty surgery and cheap drugs from Canada in your comment, I will ask the gods to give you a tail that cannot be concealed.

Fondly,

Loren Christie
