On the blog Faith and Family Live Moms are listing three small successes on Thursdays. The idea is that small achievements lead to big successes for moms. Click on the button above to participate. (This is also a really great support site for moms.) Thank you, Elizabeth, for inviting me to participate.
Here are my small successes related to motherhood this week:
1. I got my three young children into the habit of holding hands while walking with the two year- old sandwiched in the middle, and my back is very thankful.
2.I got up early today, (it was by force, but it's still a success), and the morning routine was so much more peaceful.
3. I took a nap today. Note to self: Put a lock on the refrigerator.
Dear Internet Traveler,
Welcome to my writer's blog, started about six years ago for fun. Over time, the writing I have posted has ranged from personal reflection, to Long Island history research, to tall tales for my own amusement, to feature articles for local newspapers. As you can see from topics listed here, I travel in many mental directions in regard to interests. Click on the tabs and labels to explore my strange mind which senses that you may be having a criss-cross day. If so, perhaps this blog will distract you. However, please note that if you tell me my blog is beautiful just to get me to advertise rhinoplasty surgery and cheap drugs from Canada in your comment, I will ask the gods to give you a tail that cannot be concealed.
