The Motherhood Muse- a New E-zine and Blog

I just submitted my first blog entry for The Motherhood Muse, a new blog site for writer moms that explores childrens' connection with and discovery of nature. I'm not sure when the entry will be posted, but I want to direct your attention to the link, since this site offers opportunties for writers, and it just looks so pretty. I'm also really excited and grateful to be helping with this e-zine in a staff role in the future. Here is the link:

I'll put a link up to my post when the entry is posted on The Motherhood Muse blog. Here's what the publisher, Kimberly Zook says about this site:

"The Motherhood Muse literary magazine and blog features original, brilliant creative writing that explores motherhood through the lens of nature, the female body, mind & spirit, and our children's relationship with nature. We publish creative nonfiction essays, articles, fiction, poetry, columns and photos. The Motherhood Muse goes beyond a walk in the woods to rejuvenate our creative writing minds. We seek writing that explores the nature of motherhood on a deeper level to open our minds to the wonders of mother nature and our place in it."

Happy weekend.

Dear Internet Traveler,

Welcome to my writer's blog, started about six years ago for fun. Over time, the writing I have posted has ranged from personal reflection, to Long Island history research, to tall tales for my own amusement, to feature articles for local newspapers. As you can see from topics listed here, I travel in many mental directions in regard to interests. Click on the tabs and labels to explore my strange mind which senses that you may be having a criss-cross day. If so, perhaps this blog will distract you. However, please note that if you tell me my blog is beautiful just to get me to advertise rhinoplasty surgery and cheap drugs from Canada in your comment, I will ask the gods to give you a tail that cannot be concealed.
