Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception...Jesus honored and loved his mother, and Catholics hold her in high regard for this reason. Her "yes" set God's plan in motion. Mary is a role model and guide for all mothers, and she is one of my favorite people. Here is a tribute to Mary taken from YouTube.
