Today I'm thankful for the birds that were singing outside my window when I woke up, and the fact that I was present enough in the moment to noticed this subtle, pleasant gift.

Beautiful. I love when I am calm enough to hear and realize the birds are singing. It's a rarity in today's busy life, unfortunately.
I'm thankful that I had a day off today to catch up on a bunch of things I had to do. :)
Today I am thankful that my son was able to SLIP DOWN a tree instead of FALLING OUT of it and really hurting himself. He escaped with just a scrape to the leg.
Oh wow Elizabeth, I'm glad he's okay.
