New Year's Eve 2009

I made our traditional New Year's Eve pizzas yesterday. Click here for the recipe from last year's post.

A very happy New Year to you and yours, Loren! And while we're talking about recipes, you should know that Mrs. RWP made your Grandma LaCapria's Biscotti for Christmas and people raved about it. We even gave some away as a gift to old friends. Our version used dried cherries and chopped almonds. Scrumptious! Thank you!

Thank you Mr. Brague. I will try dried cherries, that sounds yummy. Grandma LaCapria is smiling in heaven.

ALL ITALIANS SMILE WHEN THEY GET TO HEAVEN, ALL OF THEM

Because God is Italian and when you get to heaven's gate and apologize for bad behavior on Earth He pats you on the back and says- "HEY- Whats-a-matta-you? Fugedaboutit!" Mr. Putz, can you really confirm this hunch of mine? ;)

LOL!!!!! What a picture! God as Cousin Vinnie!

Just for the record, I don't think so....but it does sound like an episode from Joan of Arcadia, doesn't it?

Yes, Mr. Brague. :) That was a good show!

Dear Internet Traveler,

Welcome to my writer's blog, started about six years ago for fun. Over time, the writing I have posted has ranged from personal reflection, to Long Island history research, to tall tales for my own amusement, to feature articles for local newspapers. As you can see from topics listed here, I travel in many mental directions in regard to interests. Click on the tabs and labels to explore my strange mind which senses that you may be having a criss-cross day. If so, perhaps this blog will distract you. However, please note that if you tell me my blog is beautiful just to get me to advertise rhinoplasty surgery and cheap drugs from Canada in your comment, I will ask the gods to give you a tail that cannot be concealed.

Fondly,

Loren Christie
