A Week's Worth of Rushed Dinners that Actually Taste Good

If you are anything like me, then one of the most stressful times of the day is the afternoon, when you have to prepare dinner. The older children are running around the house like loony birds, Hell Hound is barking at me for some dinner, the phone is ringing. Meanwhile Baby Bigfoot keeps peeling his clothes off. Here is a week of dinners that are tasty and fast. I did not make up these recipes, but I did change them here and there.

Yum. Isn't it crazy? I swear dinner at our house is the same way. I'm about ready to ONLY cook with the crock pot so I can put it in first thing in the morning, then make them serve themselves at dinner. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh man, Brenda! I was hoping things might calm down a bit when the kids all get into elementary school.

Dear Internet Traveler,

Welcome to my writer's blog, started about six years ago for fun. Over time, the writing I have posted has ranged from personal reflection, to Long Island history research, to tall tales for my own amusement, to feature articles for local newspapers. As you can see from topics listed here, I travel in many mental directions in regard to interests. Click on the tabs and labels to explore my strange mind which senses that you may be having a criss-cross day. If so, perhaps this blog will distract you. However, please note that if you tell me my blog is beautiful just to get me to advertise rhinoplasty surgery and cheap drugs from Canada in your comment, I will ask the gods to give you a tail that cannot be concealed.

Fondly,

Loren Christie
